今日は私たちのような質屋が多取り扱うブランド品について書きたいと思います

ブランド品の多くはヨーロッパ発祥が多く現地の発音を日本語で表記するのは難しい事なんです

しかも同じブランドでも「英語」「フランス語」「ドイツ語」などで発音が変わる為

どの国の発音で表すかで表記も変わります

有名なところでは「ロレックス」「カルティエ」は80年代に「ローレックス」「カルチェ」と呼ばれていましたが

ブランド側の正式呼称が出る事で現在の表記が定着しています。

最近の話ですと「TUDOR」はチュードルと表記されるのが当たり前でしたが日本に正規取扱店が出来「チューダー」と表記する事で今では「チューダー」が正式なブランド名となりました

そして今回ご紹介する「ヴァシュロンコンスタンタン」は昔、正式に「バセロンコンスタンチン」と表記されていました

しかしこれは「英語」や「ドイツ語」の発音に近い物で2002年頃から「フランス語」の発音に近い今の表記に変更になったんですよ
